Suppliers and Small Business

Partnering for Success

As suppliers and subcontractors, you are critical to our success and the success of our customers. We are committed to teaming with you in ways that best fit our needs and those of our customers.

Teaming Process

We look to partner with suppliers and small businesses that provide complementary skills and niche-type offerings, and with those committed to building a long-term relationship with SAIC. Beyond subcontracting, we also work with select companies in pursuing strategic small business set-aside contracts.

Suppliers and small businesses like yours that are interested in teaming with us should provide:

  • Capabilities relevant to a specific contract or RFP
  • Strong Past Performance
  • Customer knowledge and intimacy
  • Technical certifications such as ISO, CMMI, PMP, ITIL, etc.
  • Industrial security clearance, as needed
  • Ethical commitment
  • Financial stability
  • Federal acquisition processes and understanding

Teaming and subcontracting activities are accomplished through active marketing well in advance of an opportunity being released for procurement. Teammates are typically considered six to 12 months before the release of a request for proposal (RFP).

Ethics & Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to conducting business with uncompromising integrity, which is illustrated in SAIC’s Code of Conduct. Commensurate with the size and nature of your business, we expect you to have management and business systems in place to support compliance with the letter, spirit, and intent of applicable laws, regulations, and the expectations related to or addressed expressly in SAIC’s Supplier Code of Conduct (Preview). At the point in which SAIC anticipates issuing an award, we will provide a Supplier Code of Conduct for signature. A signed Supplier Code of Conduct will be required prior to the issuing of the award.

If you believe that SAIC or any of its employees or agents has acted improperly or unethically, please report such behavior to the SAIC Ethics Hotline: 800-760-4332. We provide our Code of Conduct for informational purposes only and makes no representations as to its appropriateness for use outside of SAIC.

Thank you for your efforts to help us meet our business objectives with uncompromising integrity and business ethics.
